IPL Scam: http://iplgate.wordpress.com to offer latest, exclusive Breaking News updates on the IPL scam

Mumbai, Friday 23 April, 2010: A website – currently in a blog format – http://iplgate.wordpress.com has been launched to offer online surfers and netizens, particularly from other parts of the world the latest Breaking News, updates, commentary and exclusive articles from all publications and TV News Channels all over India related to the IPL scam.

The website which will aggregate news inputs from all published sources including news TV channel reports both in English and other vernacular channels all over India, will offer readers and viewers particularly journalists and cricket enthusiasts a one-stop source for all IPL scam-related news. The website is edited and published by senior free lance journalist Flynn Remedios who is also penning a book on the IPL controversy tentatively titled “IPLGate – the mother of all cricket scams.” Flynn Remedios is also working on a script on the IPL scam for a well-known Bollywood director and producer.

Says Flynn Remedios, “As a journalist who has covered the Harshad Mehta stock market scam and then again the Ketan Parekh scam and various other news miles stones in Indian history including the Ambani brothers-Reliance Industries open spat, the bomb blasts in Mumbai and the great deluge again in Mumbai, I understand the need for a one-stop integrated source of news for outstation and vernacular reporters and foreign correspondents who some times don’t know where to look. With this aim in mind, I have launched my blog http://iplgate.wordpress.com to offer the latest updates on the great Indian cricket scam which has now involved at least two union ministers in the ruling Congress government. We are working on a full-fledged specialized website which will take over from the blog.”

The website/blog will also publish some exclusive articles and news reports as well as excerpts from the yet-to-be published, developing book on the subject.
