ACTRESS KRISHIKA GUPTA: “I WAS MOLESTED, PINCHED AND ABUSED”

By Frank Franklyn – Futuristic Media Network

In a new twist to the Neetu Chandra photo shoot controversy, upcoming actress and model Krishika Gupta (who actually spells her name as Krrishika) has alleged that she was molested, pinched on the rear, abused and her modesty outraged during the shoot at a 5-star hotel at Juhu in suburban Mumbai.

In an official statement released on Saturday in Mumbai by her publicist Flynn Remedios, Krrishika Gupta said, “I was exploited, pinched on the rear, molested and abused. While Neetu Chandra was provided with security, the organizers of the photo shoot left me to fend for myself. I had offered to get my own assistant along, but they told me that every thing would be provided for at the venue. I was told that it was a very artistic and classy shoot for a very prestigious magazine. When I reached the venue, I realized that these were all empty promises.”

“During the shoot, since we were shooting in bikinis in the open on Juhu beach and at a hotel adjoining the beach, some people tried to touch me and even tried to pull away the bath robe that I had put on over the bikini to cover myself. When I complained to the organizers no action was taken. The organizers were very busy ensuring that the shoot was completed as per their plans – since a crowd had collected by then - and did not pay any heed to my complaint. I feel completely cheated by the organizers and will sue them for the indignity and insult endured by me. There was no proper security. Though the shoot was on the open beach, no police permission was taken nor was any police official present.”

Krrishika’s Manager and Publicist Flynn Remedios confirmed that Krrishika is contemplating filing a police complaint. “Some persons from the crowd tried to pull her bath robe and also tried to touch her improperly and paw her. One of them pinched her on the rear. They showered her with some of the choicest abuses in vernacular languages and made vulgar and abusive signs and gestures at her. Krrishika will file an official police complaint on Monday, after consulting her family and lawyers,” said Flynn Remedios, adding that Krrishika was uncertain about complaining about this earlier. "She didn't want to disturb or upset her family," explained.

Krishika is thankful that the situation did not get out of hand. “They crowd could have done anything to me,” she said, recounting with horror the story of two girls who were molested by an unruly crowd at Juhu on New Year’s Eve. It was very irresponsible of the organizers and the magazine to shoot on an open beach with models in bikinis without proper security, added Krishika.

SEXY, BOLD AND DARE-TO-BARE MERLYN ENTERS BOLLYWOOD

By Frank Franklyn – Futuristic Media Network

Sexy and red hot Tamil and Kannada actress Merlyn is making waves in Bollywood. And we aren’t referring to her outrageous photo shoots. She has recently bagged a big Bollywood project. The transition from Tollywood to Bollywood was quite quick for Merlyn who within months got every producer longing to “work” with her. Maybe it had something to do with her PR strategy and steamy, wild and bold photos, says one well-known Tamil director who is now a great fan of Merlyn.

The got-it-flaunt-it actress is currently busy shooting in Ooty for her first Bollywood film, but her Manager and Publicist Flynn Remedios gave us some interesting bytes. “Merlyn is ready to bare all in front of the camera. She is very confident and comfortable with her body and is working very hard with her Kick Boxing, Tap dancing, Power Yoga and acting classes which take up almost 12 hours each day – when she is not shooting that is. Merlyn is working overtime to get the perfect bod.”

Merlyn prefers to show her body in front of the camera. According to a recent interview, Merlyn while referring to the casting couch was quoted as saying: “I prefer to show my body in front of the camera or to the camera, unlike some other well-known actresses who cover themselves before the camera, but take off everything behind the camera for the director or producer.”

Merlyn has done many stage shows in the south and is a very popular number on the “item circuit” in the Kannada industry, adds Flynn Remedios. She is known as the South Item Queen having done almost 20 item songs for Tamil, Telugu, Malayam and Kannada movies in the last one year. Move over Namitha, Monalisa, Jyothika, Nayanthara, Sada, Ragasiya, Priyamani and all the other south queens. Merlyn is all set to give you a run for your money.

Claudia Ciesla: “I am not a nude or topless model.”

By Frank Franklyn – Futuristic Media Network

Salman Khan’s ‘special’ friend and Hollywood actress Claudia Ciesla is livid. And very rightly so! The Indian media has incorrectly ‘termed’ her a nude and a topless model. In an exclusive interview to this reporter, Claudia poured her heart out: “I had done just one shoot 4 years ago and that too for a very prestigious international publication. That was at the beginning of my career, and while I won’t say it was a mistake; I may add in hindsight that it was an indiscretion.”

Expressing her anger, disgust and disappointment at being incorrectly termed a nude or topless model, Claudia while referring to certain reports in the Indian media said, “Unfortunately they never checked. They wrote what they read or just presumed things. I cannot explain to every journalist individually, but I humbly request the Indian media through this report to kindly get their facts right before ‘terming’ or ‘labeling’ someone. It’s a really tough world out there. It’s not easy to make it as a super model. It takes a lot of hard work, perseverance, determination and sacrifice – hours at the gym, diets, rehearsals – it’s not just cakewalk. Years of hard work to build a good reputation can be destroyed by just one irresponsible report.”

“I am working hard to promote Indian ethnic fashion in Europe. I have modeled and showcased Bollywood designer Umair Zafar’s bridal collection all over Europe. But the media doesn’t seem to notice that. There are several good pix around wherein I am either modeling Indian outfits by Umair or showcasing traditional Indian wear. But that doesn’t make it to the front page,” Claudia lamented, adding that one or two fake photos circulating around on the internet immediately make news.

Bollywood’s Badshah Salman Khan had last week officially acknowledged German supermodel and Hollywood actress Claudia Ciesla as his "special friend" laying to rest all gossip regarding their ‘very special friendship’.

According to Flynn Remedios, Claudia Ciesla's spokesperson, publicist and Manager for India, Claudia has turned down many lucrative film offers from various film-makers the world over that required her to reveal more than she was comfortable. “Claudia is very hurt about certain blatantly false and misleading reports in sections of the media.”

“Claudia has been wrongly understood by the Indian Media. She is not a topless or nude model. Claudia has never posed nude and has vowed never to do any nude shoots. All the photos that show Claudia nude or topless are fake and digitally altered. We will sue anyone who claims that Claudia is a topless or nude model."

Claudia has confirmed that she will participate in the Living Talent Face of India, beauty pageant and fashion show to be held in Mumbai in June and also walk the ramp for a charity event in support of Mumbai's street children. According to her spokesperson Flynn Remedios, "Claudia is very sensitive towards Indian culture. She immediately consented to do the talent contest and beauty pageant LIVING TALENT FACE OF INDIA event which will contribute a substantial sum of money for the benefit of street children.

SALMAN KHAN OFFICIALLY "ACCEPTS" CLAUDIA CIESLA AS A "SPECIAL FRIEND"

“Claudia is a very nice girl. I have even introduced her to my family” – Bollywood superstar Salman Khan

“Salman is really fearless and has a heart of gold. He is my hero,” Claudia Ciesla

By Frank Franklyn – © FUTURISTIC MEDIA NETWORK

Heart throb and the darling of millions of women, Bollywood badshah Salman Khan has officially acknowledged German supermodel and Hollywood actress Claudia Ciesla as his "special friend".

According to a report in a national Kolkatta-based newspaper, Salman Khan has 'confirmed’ to the Indian press his friendship with Claudia and has even introduced her to his family'

According to sources, Claudia is a very private person. She will never talk about her personal life. She refused to comment on her ‘relationship’ with Salman and even forbade her spokesperson Flynn Remedios from breathing a word about anything to the media. But now Salman cleared the air in a candid and straight-from-the-heart interview to a Kolkatta paper.

Flynn Remedios, Claudia Ciesla's spokesperson, publicist and Manager for India said, “Claudia has been wrongly understood by the Indian Media. She is not a topless or nude model. It was only once at the beginning of her career about 4 years ago - like many Indian actresses - that she posed topless for a very prestigious magazine. It was a very artistic and classy shoot. Claudia has never posed nude and will vowed never to do any nude shoots. All the other photos that show Claudia nude or topless are fake and digitally altered. We will sue anyone who claims that Claudia is a topless or nude model."

Speaking to the journalist from Kolkatta via email, Claudia said, "I love the Indian Culture, ethos, and traditions. I respect all Indian religions. I am God-willing planning to permanently settle in India. I am not a nude or topless model but a very serious professional who has done some very good work in the west." She also elaborated that she represents Bollywood fashion designer Umair Zafar's ethnic and Indian fashion in Europe.

Claudia has also confirmed that she will participate in the Living Talent Face of India, beauty pageant and fashion show to be held in Mumbai in June and also walk the ramp for a charity event in support of Mumbai's street children. According to her spokesperson Flynn Remedios, "Claudia is very sensitive towards Indian culture. She immediately consented to do the talent contest and beauty pageant LIVING TALENT FACE OF INDIA event which will contribute a substantial sum of money for the benefit of street children.

According to the report in the Kolkatta newspaper, Salman invited Claudia to his home, introduced Claudia to his family. "Claudia is a very nice girl. I have introduced her to my family," Salman Khan said casually when queried about his 'relationship' with Claudia. Filling in the blanks from Germany, Claudia said, "I met his wonderful family - brothers, sister and his darling and handsome father Salim. They are a very warm and friendly family. All very down to earth. Salman is a real man. He has a heart of gold. He is fearless - not scared to admit his friendship with anyone, unlike some other male actors and directors in Bollywood. Salman Khan is my hero," said a blushing Claudia.

Clarifying about Claudia’s meeting with Abhishek Bachchan at Cannes, Flynn Remedios said, “It is a fact that Claudia and Abhishek met and chatted for a while. But it was a formal discussion though Abhishek was quite friendly. The photos were not just ‘fan pix’ as made out by some media persons and publications.

By Frank Franklyn – Futuristic Media Network

Some apparently fake, topless and nude photos of German supermodel, Hollywood actress and former Playboy playmate Claudia Ciesla have been doing the rounds via email and MMS in India. The visibly altered and apparently fake photos have been on some internet websites for quite some time now, but ever since the busty babe was linked with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, the photos have suddenly attracted tremendous attention from surfers in India making them some of the most searched for images on popular search engines.

The chain mail with the apparently fake images, which started last week reached millions of email boxes in India over the weekend, with media persons and journalists bombarding Claudia Ciesla’s Media Manager and spokesperson for India Flynn Remedios with queries about its authenticity.

Flynn Remedios - who got almost a 100 emails seeking a clarification with the photos attached - said, “On examination the photos look doctored and are of a very poor resolution. We are yet to verify their authenticity and I cannot comment on it at this stage. I will get back to you after I verify it either way.” According to reports, Claudia has posed in the nude for Playboy in the past.

SPECTRA MULTIMEDIA'S FILM FEATURING ACTRESS PRIYANKAA GOES ON FLOORS

ACTRESS PRIYANKAA MAY BE CONTACTED ON: priyankaa.mumbai@gmail.com

By Frank Franklyn – Futuristic Media Network

Spectra Multimedia began shooting for its regional, multi-lingual film featuring Actress Priyankaa at a lavish set about 25 kilometers from Panvel, on the outskirts of Mumbai.

The huge set was constructed at a cost of about Rs 50 lakh – a record for a regional film. About 100 labourers, 50 skilled technicians, 10 electricians and 5 engineers were involved in the construction of the set which boasts of several technical marvels that will help Spectra Multimedia shoot different aspects of the film on a rotating, revolving podium. Each time the podium is moved, it will enable the director to use different backgrounds or facades as may be required for the film.

Spokesperson and Executive Producer for Spectra Multimedia, Flynn Remedios said, “While we would not like to specify the exact budget of this film, it is definitely a big budget project when compared to the standards of the regional or Marathi film industry.”

The Mumbai-based Film and TV software Production House Spectra Multimedia had a few weeks ago signed a 3-film deal with upcoming regional actress Priyankaa. All three films will be made in Marathi and are expected to be completed by this year-end or mid 2010. While one film will be a family comedy, another will be based on a historical story. The third and last film is expected to be a suspense thriller, according to a release issued by the company. According to Flynn Remedios, “While the films will be primarily in Marathi, they would have a multi-lingual approach with added dialogues in Hinglish to give them a larger appeal.” Spectra Multimedia through its distribution partners will release these films all over the country, he added.

By virtue of this 3-film deal, actress Priyankaa is also into a two-year exclusive artiste management contract with Spectra Multimedia who will handle all her film, advertising, endorsement and branding assignments.

Spectra Multimedia has been into Film and TV Production consultancy, co-ordination, management and marketing for the last two years. The company has successfully marketed and promoted several regional film projects and music videos in the past and is also producing crossover films in Hindi, Punjabi and English for the international market. Their specialization includes projects for International Film Festivals and DVD/VCD film marketing.

PLEASE JOIN THE "SUPPORT JYOTHI VENKATESH" CAMPAIGN

Dear friends in the Media and all Indians,

Freelance journalist Jyothi Venkatesh, whom I have known for the last 13-15 years as a lovable, helpful and jovial scribe, was arrested on Friday (2nd May) by the Versova – a part of Andheri in suburban Mumbai - police as a co-accused in a culpable homicide not amounting to a murder case.

While I do not want to get into the details of the case and wouldn’t want to influence, hamper or disturb the police investigation in anyway, I know that Jyothi is innocent. His only crime was that he was at the wrong place at the wrong time. He probably just took a lift home after work (probably after attending a filmi party) and ended up in the wrong car with the wrong person.

His only crime was that he didn’t go to the police after knowing that the car he was in (or the driver who was driving the car he was in, had accidentally or without intention to, or in a temporary loss of reason) had knocked down two persons – one of them fatally - who were threatening him over a financial dispute.

Maybe Jyothi thought he would go to the police the next day. Maybe he thought he would contact his lawyers before going there. Whatever be the reason, I find it impossible to even dream that Jyothi Venkatesh – who has helped several struggling Bollywood actors in the last two decades, would have tried to avoid the law or would have been involved in anything illegal.

For those of you who are unaware of the case here are the press reports (based on info given out by the police in their FIR, which is normally the prosecution or police story)

http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/Cities/Mumbai/Film-journalist-aide-held-for-running-over-man/articleshow/4479962.cms

While the law has to take its course, Jyothi needs to be treated fairly, as a human being and as a respectable member of our civilized society. I am told that his family members who tried to visit him at the general police lockup next to Andheri (East) Police Station were not allowed to give him basic amenities like a change of clothes, soap, a towel, toothbrush, etc.

While a known terrorist Ajmal Kasab who cold-bloodedly mowed down over 50 persons and threatened the peace of the entire city and the nation at large has the gumption to ask for perfumes and newspapers and wants to take a walk around the Arthur Road Prison premises like a lord and is given a separate cell with an exclusive toilet and water tap connection, Jyothi Venkatesh will have to share a barrack with 180 persons (a barrack which is meant to house not more than 70 persons) and will also have share two water tap outlets with 200 plus inmates.

While every minor change in the health, heartbeat or skin condition of terrorist Ajmal Kasab is monitored by jail doctors, Jyothi Venkatesh who brought us juicy tidbits from the entertainment world for over two decades will have to share ‘daris’ that are not washed for months, that are infected by lice, moths and every known bacterium in the living world.

While Kasab’s food has to strictly confirm to the stipulations of the Jail Manual, Jyothi will get hot coloured water called dal and hardened, semi-cooked rotis – better for burning in the ‘handi’s’ than for eating.

Friends (and enemies too who keep circulating defamatory, false and damaging emails about me to my clients and colleagues) Jyothi doesn’t deserve to be sent to Arthur Road Jail, which he will not be able to avoid once he is granted judicial custody.

Under section 302 IPC (or 304 IPC) under which Jyothi is being held by the police, he cannot be granted bail by the Magistrate’s Court. Technically speaking, the Sessions Court – which can grant him bail - will only entertain his bail application when the mandatory Police Remand expires and Jyothi is sent to JC or Judicial Custody. This means that Jyothi will have to spend time at Arthur Road Jail and cannot avoid a visit to the Bombay Central Prison as it’s also called.

To express your support for Jyothi Venkatesh please click here
or on the link below:

http://supportjyothivenkatesh.blogspot.com/2009/05/support-jyothi-venkatesh.html

and leave your comments by using the comments form at the bottom of the post in support of Jyothi Venkatesh demanding of the authorities that he be treated fairly, humanely and hopefully better than how terrorists are treated in this country. (And also demand his prompt release as permitted under the provision of law)

Sincerely
Flynn Remedios

GERMAN SUPERMODEL CLAUDIA CIESLA SALMAN KHAN’S LATEST MUSE??

© Flynn Remedios – Futuristic Media Network

Well, well, wanna hear what a little birdie told me on V-Day? Apparently our dear Sallu bhai has a new ‘interest’. And the girl in question is none other than German super model Claudia Ciesla.

According to my birdie sources, Salman met the dashing 5.10 feet beauty at J W Marriott recently and even sent a car to pick her up. Now any journalist, budding actor or producer who has ever tried to get an interview or appointment with Sallu bhai knows how difficult it is, but for the sexy Claudia it was just cake walk or should we say ramp walk for Sallu went out of his way to extend the red carpet to the doe-eyed beauty.

So impressed was Sallu that he even promised her a role in one of his forthcoming films. Now, we wonder what Kats has got to say to that.

Salman was unavailable (to lesser mortals like myself) for comment and in spite of several attempts, we were unable to get thru to Sallu bhai.

According to Wikipedia and her own website, Claudia Ciesla (not Claudia Schiffer please) is a German model, actress, and singer of Polish descent. She grew up in the town of Bukow, Poland. Her father is Polish and her mother is German.

Ciesla started modeling at the age of 15 working for shows involved in fashion and dancing. At the age of 17 she moved to Bamberg, Germany and became an Internet glamour model. Her original stage name is "CClaudia", but she also appears frequently under her real name. She then appeared in print in the German Matador magazine.

She was discovered by the former German Chief Editor, Stefan Gessulat, and appeared in the August 2005 Matador issue as Miss Matador. She has done many glamorous bikini and fashion modeling shoots and her photos have been published on many Internet websites.

The Wiki entry also goes to add that the German newspaper Bild arranged an examination of Ciesla by a plastic surgeon and reported that her breasts (38DD) were entirely natural.

Claudia shot for the German-Indian Film "Ki Jana Pardes" in 2008. In Aug/Sept Claudia shot in Kolkatta playing the role of a German journalist for the Film "10:10" together with award winning filmstar Soumitra Chatterjee and sang the title song of this movie.

Claudia and her Business Manager – the affable and very lovable Greg - were in Mumbai last week to dub for her second Hindi movie titled Karma. She also interacted with media persons and posed for photographs, but refused to comment on her meeting with Salman Khan.

She even did a photo session with Bollywood fashion and couture designer Umair Zafar in exclusive bridal designer wear during her visit to Mumbai.

“I am in a really bad frame of mind,” said the visibly upset actress, when we called her on Monday, “adding that Bruno, a German Sheppard was going to be 11 this May. He has been with us for the last 11 years. His liver and kidney failed and the worst part was that we were not around when this happened. He died even before we could reach. He was there for us as a friend and family member for eleven long years, but unfortunately we were not when he breathed his last yesterday,” said Mahie from Chandigarh.

A close friend of Mahie’s who didn’t want to be named said that Mahie hasn’t eaten for the last 30 hours and is really very upset about the unexpected demise. Bruno was a constant companion and friend to the actress in her tough climb up the Bollywood ladder of success.

NOW OWN THE MOON - OR AT LEAST A PART OF IT

By Flynn Remedios – Futuristic Media Network

Yes you read right – now you can have the Moon or at least a small piece of it. And the price tag isn’t that steep either. Just about Rs 4 to 5 lakh to have a piece of the Moon in your own very bedroom. Wanna know more.. Read on….

To commemorate 40 years of Man’s first steps on the Moon, international art book publishers Taschen have come out with a special Limited Edition of journalist Norman Mailer’s book MoonFire. While the original book by Norman Mailer titled MoonFire: From Planet Earth: The Epic Journey of Apollo 11, is priced at GBP 600 and is also a Limited Edition book, Taschen recently announced a special Limited Edition of just 20 copies accompanied by a small piece of original Moon Rock. And the entire lot was sold out within a few days.

While the exact price hasn’t been disclosed yet – the book is expected to be available May end or June this year – sources said it could be in the range of Rs 4-5 lakh. Each of the 20 books will be accompanied by a certified piece of Moon Rock encased in a decorative, ornamental casket, said Gangadharan Javahar of Dolphin Publications Pvt Ltd, representatives of Taschen in India.

Dolphin is one of Taschen’s distributors in India and the largest distributor of foreign books in the country. Javahar himself an avid book lover went to a great extent to order a copy of the Special Limited Edition book. Thanks to Gangadharan Javahar, Indians will have an opportunity to own some part of the moon right here in India. “When I got to know about this book, I immediately wrote to Taschen to reserve a copy for me. I was lucky. Had I to be late by a day, the last two copies would have been sold out, he said adding, “While I have got one book confirmed for my book store Indus, I am trying to get another copy for my personal collection,” says Javahar. So exclusive is the book and so great the demand internationally that the publishers were reluctant to ‘sell’ more than one copy to each distributor.

Speaking to this journalist at the Collector’s Book Festival at Indus – the Book store at the Grand Hyatt in Mumbai, Javahar said, “Yes we have ordered the Moon Rock book as it’s called. Though the book is yet to be delivered we have got several enquiries for the book. We plan to auction the book along with some other Limited Edition and Collectors Books later this year.”

Javahar who runs Indus – the Bookstore, an exclusive store for book lovers at the Grand Hyatt in suburban Mumbai said that during the Collector’s Book Festival currently being held at the store from 3rd to 15th April, several Limited Edition and Collectors books each costing a small fortune will be on display. Most of these books weigh several kilograms and come encased in a decorative box. Many books are hand signed and hand-numbered and are rare as only a few hundred copies of the books are printed world over.

Indus currently houses over a hundred Limited Edition and Collector’s titles, explained Javahar, adding that the auction will pave the way for a new lot of similar exclusive books. Indus – the book store is located at Hotel Grand Hyatt, Mumbai, which has a luxury mall housing most of the world’s leading luxury brands. It also has another outlet at The ITC Maratha Sheraton, Mumbai and the Taj Residency, Nashik all of which boast of some of the rarest of rare books published on earth.

The Moon Rock book will have exclusive, some as yet unseen photos of Apollo 11’s mission to the Moon, the preparations before D-day and the return to earth. It will have extensive interviews by both Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin. The original book was written by Mailer – then with Life Magazine – who had hired him exclusively for the job.

THE COLLECTOR’S BOOK FESTIVAL – A SPECIAL DISPLAY AND DISCOUNT SALE OF LIMITED EDITION AND EXCLUSIVE BOOKS IS ON FROM 3RD TO 15TH APRIL AT INDUS – THE BOOKSTORE, GRAND HYATT, KALINA, MUMBAI

FIRST TIME IN INDIA, DNCC ANNOUNCES WALK IN-WALK OUT, NON-SURGICAL, NON-INVASIVE BUST ENHANCEMENT & RECONTURING

Mumbai: March 28, 2009: For the first time in India, the Dr Nishita Sheth’s Cosmetology Clinic (DNCC) in Mumbai has announced a walk in-walk out, non-invasive, non-surgical bust enhancement technique – which has been accepted in developed nations like the US, UK, Ireland and most of Europe including Japan and Sweden.

Explaining the method, Dr Nishita Sheth said, “The procedure is very simple and normally should not take more than one hour. After consultation - once the doctor and patient have decided on the desired shape, size and volume of the bust - a local anesthetic is administered. Then a gel-like filler substance called Macrolane is injected deep into the breast tissue. As the Macrolane is injected, the plastic surgeon manipulates the breast, so that the fluid fills to create the best possible and desired shape.” Other fillers like Restylane or the popular Botox are used for facial injections and vary in terms of their thickness and viscosity.

“We are the first to announce this technique in India and as a special offer are offering free consulting for this technique during the month of April at our clinic at Bandra in Mumbai,” said Dr Nishita Sheth of DNCC. Elaborating on the technique, Dr Nishita Sheth said that India is one of the best locations for all sort of cosmetology treatment.

“The cost of the treatment will depend on the amount of Macrolane that has to be injected, but is quite comparable to the commonly used silicone implant method for bust enhancement, said Dr Nishita Sheth.

This technique is also known as the boob-jab in the West (as versus the boob job that involved silicone implants necessitating surgery) and is a hot topic of discussion in cosmetology glossies with some articles claiming that one can get a boob-jab done painlessly in as much time as it takes to grab a sandwich. It has been touted as the latest cosmetic quick-fix miracle fad.

Many women have got ‘boob-jabs’ done during their lunch breaks, boosting not just their busts, but also their egos and self-confidence levels while munching on their lunch claims another article in a popular international women’s magazine.
